Avid debuted two new disc brake models at Sea Otter: the Elixir 9 and 7 Trail. Both feature a powerful 4-piston caliper and not a whole lot of grams. The basic idea: lots of stopping power, good modulation, not a lot of weight….at a price most of us can afford.
